Policies
The Faculty Handbook provides policies governing the following categories of professorial appointments: tenure line, non-tenure line, Medical Center Line, and Senior Fellows.
The Administrative Guide is a reference manual of University policies, including the University Code of Conduct, general personnel policies, and policies governing purchasing, computing and the authority to enter into academic and business relationships.
Information regarding academic governance may be found in the Faculty Handbook, the Senate and Committee Handbook, and in Administrative Guide Memo 1.3.
The Stanford Bulletin provides information regarding academic policies.
Global Business Services provides practical and logistical information for faculty and staff engaged in international work.
The Research Policy Handbook addresses the conduct of research at Stanford and includes the Faculty Policy on Conflict of Commitment and Interest.
